While AO3 is down

AO3 is down. Your fics don't have to be.

Just a reader, made by fans who miss AO3 too. Drop in a work you downloaded earlier, or paste a Google Drive link to it, and read it the way you're used to: tags, summary, author's notes, chapters and "Next Chapter".

Not a mirror, not a pirate library, not another site passing off other people's fics as its own. Your file never leaves your browser.

The file must be shared as "Anyone with the link". It goes straight from Google to your browser.

How it works

  1. 1

    Get the file

On AO3, use Download → EPUB, or dig out a file you saved earlier, on your device or in Google Drive. EPUB works best: tags and notes come with it.

  2. 2

Drop it in or paste a link

Drop the file here, or paste its Google Drive link. Your browser reads it right here; nothing goes through our server and the book stays in this browser.

  3. 3

    Read

Rating, warnings, tags, notes and chapters show up just like on AO3. Regular books split into chapters too.

What's not here

  • A server full of books. We never receive or see your files.
  • A catalogue, search or feed. You only read what you brought.
  • Comments and kudos. They belong to the authors and live on AO3.

When AO3 is back, go say thanks.

Leave kudos and a few kind words for the authors you read here. Fanfic runs on authors, not on readers like this one.
